Congratulations goes to the Nixon Fundraising Committee for raising $51,050 at the Auciton night last Friday. It was a fun-filled night with a Mexican fiesta theme. There were a surprising number of silent auction items. Everything from jewelry, sports memorbilia, sittings with local photographers, and much more. Following the closing of the silent auction was a live auction. Some of the items were a weekend on Nantucket, personal parking spot at Nixon, a ride in a Sudbury police cruiser, 2 nights at the Four Seasons in Boston and an African Safari. Thank you Beth Sorbo, Tracy Sconyers and Robin Travato for putting on such a great event! |
