Sudbury Parents' Group

We have a new meet-up group called Massachusetts Samoyeds and Friends. I started this group as a way to meet other Samoyeds in the area for fun and playtime (because Samoyeds are naturally friendly, fun loving and happy-go-lucky), but we include ALL breeds and mixed breeds who are active, playful, non-aggressive, kid and dog friendly. This is an especially good group for socializing puppies and young dogs as they will learn to be happy, good citizens with us! We count among our membership Samoyeds, Labradors, Golden Retrievers, Border Collies, Greater Swiss Mountain Dogs, German Shepherds, Labradoodles, Huskies and many others.

We try to go where the dogs can be off leash to walk, hike and swim. In the winter time, we will schedule some events for skijoring and mushing and in non-snow months, for scootering and bikejoring, if that interests you. We also try to get to area beaches in the off season – what is a better place for dogs to run and play?

I live in Sudbury, so often organize events out this way, but am always happy for suggestions, ideas and requests. This group is driven by member interest. We typically have several meet-ups a week, some during the week and always one (or more) on the weekend.

I also give info about each walk, what kinds of things we can do there and trail maps (when available).

We count many labs in our group and they do LOVE this!
