Sudbury Parents' Group

My family and I are moving to Sudbury at the end of the month. We have small children and the house we are purchasing will need some work done. So, I am looking for your advice and recommendations re: the following:

Dentist - pediatric and adult

Physicians - pediatric and adult

Hair salon - for myself, full-service would be nice, nothing too outrageously expensive, but want someone who is experienced in color and cut of curly hair.

Floor refinishing - the hardwood floors are in serious need of some TLC. Does anyone know of a reputable and reasonably-priced contractor to refinish the floors?

Electrician - the electrical system needs an upgrade. Can anyone recommend a licensed and bonded electrician with reasonable rates, who is reliable and will call you back?

Dentist: Dr. Tesini in the Rugged Bear Plaza near Sudbury Farms

Physician: Mill Brook Pediatrics and Dr. Irina Bogorad both in Emerson Hospital on Rt. 20

Hair Salon: Gretchen Mc Adams is great and does everything!! She is currently making house calls. Please let me know if you are interested so I can give you her number.

Childcare: Little Hands Academy next to Mill Brook and Dr. Bogorad.

I like MassGeneral Pediatrics in Waltham. We use Dr. Wachs and she is fantastic. They even have weekend hours where you can go in after 11am and it's first come, first serve if you need to see someone on the weekend.

Hair: Starz Salon in Mill Pond

Floors: Foley Floor & Tile in Maynard. Jason Foley is a very honest guy and can give you a good deal.
